Bet you're feeling pretty gorgonized right about now, huh?

Hola peeps and peepsanistas,
sk FINALLY started blogging. Claims she's been really busy. So for those of you interested in wrestling drunken pigs (and possibly other tales of Western PA eroticism), and you know who you are, go check her out.

One of the consequences (wow!-that was a fun word to spell.) of me and the wife's staggering number of doctor/dentist visits is the pain medication. After every visit we end up with a bottle of 600mg Ibuprofin, 800mg Ibuprofin, or Vicodin. Now personally, I don't find any of them to be real effective, so I just skip on using them. None seemed particularly pleasure inducing either. So I was somewhat surprised to find Vicodin listed as a frequently abused drug. And me sitting here with a coffee can full of 'em. Well, every cloud has it's silver lining. If the whole Home Depot thing don't work out I now have a back up plan as a street pusher.** Do they still call 'em pushers? I used to rely on Hoyt Axton for my street lingo, but ol' Hoyt's kind of dead now.

After at least an 18 month wait, which could have been longer because I swear it seemed like forever, The Sopranos Season 5 hit the shelves here. A whopping 3 copies and I got the last one. I am stoked...stoked...stoked. I have watched the first 4 seasons repeatedly and I still enjoy them. In the case of season 5, I didn't get to see any of the episodes in real time, so all 13 episodes will be brand new to me.

Been listening to a whole lot of Buddy Miller lately. He's got me feeling right.

Tropical Cyclone Nesat (or some such) is headed our way. Don't think it'll make landfall, but it has to be getting close because an hour ago the rain started. I know I should probably know this crap, but I am not sure what the difference between a cyclone and a typhoon is. Wait..hit pause for a second. I'm gonna open a new window and go find out. Yes...you are witness to the rare Travelin' Ed research sidebar, so go wake up the kids........ ..... ..... ... ..... ..... ....... .......... ... .......... Hum de hum hummmm (Interlude music) ............... ...... ..... ......... ......... ......... .... ............... ...... ............ ......... Yep, it's just off the coast. And a cyclone spins like a typhoon but with winds only in the 20-30 MPH range, so it is more noteworthy for it's heavy rains than for wind damage. Well, that researching thing wasn't so bad, I guess.

OK, there will be more later. There always is. But right now I feel like I got some rhyming in me and it wants to come out.

**For any FBI or other law enforcement agency reading this right now, here's my disclaimer. Anything you ever see in any of my posts after the words "Hola peeps", with the sole exceptions of any expressions of immense admiration for the military and/or men and women of law enforcement, is BS. Crapola. Pure entertainment fiction. So please, don't come bustin' down my door like I'm some kind of drug dealer or former child star. Gracias.

Gorgonizing, out
Travelin' Ed

Good ol' RaWo-MaticĀ®. Once again it spits out a perfectly matched word for the blog that preceeds it. Un-hola, out.
