Case Logic File #22. Forgotten CDs

I pulled out an older CD book and put it in the car yesterday. It was getting to be time for some variety. I love Kid Rock and Willie Nelson and Johnny Lang and Swamp Boogie Queen, but I had wore out listening to them.

Oh man, I forgot how much I like the music I've bought over the years. First I listened to Bruce Robison: A long way home from anywhere. He wrote Traveling Soldier that Dixie Chicks recorded. Then I listened to his wild-child brother, Charlie Robison, but the title escapes me at the moment. This morning I popped in a real blast from the past, Confederate Railroad: Keep On Rockin'. They have ties to David Allan Coe somehow, but I forget exactly how. Either he used to play with them some, or they opened for him, or they were all photographed at a Texas BBQ wearing Til Tuesday T-shirts. My mind just ain't what it used to be.

After I go check out CNN dot Com and Cruel dot Com for my daily doses I'll wander out to the car and get the CD book. I'll do some kind of top 25 or something. Too much good stuff in there for just 10 of anything.

So, til a half hour from now**, ciao.

Grange, out
Travelin' Ed

** I'm gonna fiddle with the time tag and make it appear below this instead of above this. I'm a trickster like that.
