I am from the American southland. I am well travelled (North America, Asia, Central America, Australia,and Caribbean) and I enjoy life. Not a wild eyed and crazy dude, but definately worldly...comfortable sipping coffee in a sidewalk cafe in Cartagena, Colombia or drinking beer in a pub in Raymond Terrace, Australia. I can ask for my change in Thai and Tagalog and I can request a fork in Japanese. I can tell you to piss off in both the Aussie and British dialects. I'm worldly, I tell ya. I am married to a diva from Bangkok, with my homelife being something akin to a live-in maid with football watching priveliges. Usually.

Ah yes, fond memories of Thai traffic ettiquette. Particularly recall being in a baht bus and watching two Thai logging trucks, running side-by-side, at breakneck speed, racing to see who can pass the bus first... all 3 going the same direction on a very narrow 2 lane, dirt/gravel road. Great fun!
It's a wonder I didn't come home feet first. :-)
