Farenhiet...The sordid, sordid story

Fahrenhiet

In a room without four walls within
My thoughts turn back to you again
Too hot to move the mercury
Done topped a hundred slow degrees

That's Fahrenhiet, that's fair enough
A slow burn when you talk so tough

What's the law say about that dress
You've got them boys all seeing red
What's that... a hint of a rose tatoo
Now who'd you let do that to you

It's peeking out just far enough
Make me smile when you talk so tough

Just slapping hands in a dark front seat
On a slow cruise right down lonely street
Had to cross the tracks but what the hell
Another sordid tale to tell

A fairlane ford that's fair enough
Windows down and talking tough

Tanking up on Tanquery
Poison purfume's what I say
But we stole it from your daddy who knows
A thing or two 'bout rolling stoned

He's fairly lost, that's fair enough
Where'd you learn to talk so tough

In a room without four walls within
Can't hold your tongue...can't hold your gin
You lost something there to me
Rising like the mercury

That's fahrenhiet, that's fair enough
Now let's hear you talk so tough

It's fair to middling, all that stuff
You think you talk, you talk so tough

Why thank you, miss. And you should hear it as a song. So bluesy.
