It is a link, but it will die

This is a link to a story in today's St Petersburg Times. I know there are some of you out there who would find it uplifting. A Congressman's wife with an independent streak, a soft spot for marines, and the salty vocabulary of a drill seargant. I hope you are as warmed by it as I was. I don't know how long one of these newspaper links stays active.

Good link, Ed.

I enjoyed reading about the Congressman's wife very much. The in-your-face attitude doesn't need to be applied 24/7, but there are times when that's the only thing that'll get results and it sounds like she does get it done, when necessary!

That you are R' Ed.

Hey, talk about a coincidence. I followed a link at Kilo's to the Congressman's website and saw that there's a reservoir in his district with the same name as him... the C.W. Bill Young Regional Reservoir. Wow... what are the odds of that happening?

The chances are right fair. See, in Florida, which is still a distant second to Louisiana in these matters, when minor irritants such as ethics laws get in the way of something a politician wants, there's a quick vote and there you go, ethics laws changed and conflict averted.
